Youth Legacy
- In 2007 OSU’s office of Parent Support and Services created a new and pioneering childcare center in The Valley Library. The childcare center is short-term drop-off childcare for students with children needing to access library services at times when traditional childcare is unavailable. This service is paid by student fees and is free for parents to use. As far as we know, this is the first childcare center to appear in a university library and we are pleased to report that the center is highly successful and operating at full capacity. This year, Our Little Village has plans to create an additional drop-off childcare center that allows parents to take evening classes, tests or access other campus resources and events.
