GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
Operating under the direction of the Internal Audit Division Associate Audit Director and/or Executive Director, the Audit Supervisor is responsible for supervising auditors in their performance of financial, compliance, operational, information technology, fraud, and special project audits of the Oregon University System’s administrative and operating units.
The Audit Supervisor evaluates staff performance and future potential. The Audit Supervisor also assists with quality assurance efforts and maintaining office standards and represents the IAD in various capacities.
MINIMUM (REQUIRED) QUALIFICATIONS
The Audit Supervisor must have the following qualifications:
- Five years total auditing including prior supervisory experience
- BS/BA in related business field including experience with electronic information and communication systems, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Professional auditing certification such as Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, or Certified Fraud Examiner.
SPECIAL (PREFERRED) QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in compliance, information technology, or financial auditing.
- Dual certifications
