Title: Treasury Operations Coordinator

Salary: $46,000 and up (depending on applicable experience) plus a comprehensive benefits package

Location: This position is located in Corvallis, Oregon


This position is responsible for leading the operational activities of the Oregon University System (System) Treasury function. This includes ensuring that the System’s cash accounts are adequately controlled and monitored, leading the System’s bank account reconciliation process, resolving banking related issues, conducting fiscal analysis of the System’s cash position, and escheat property to the Department of State Lands.

To optimize investment earnings, the System pools its cash and invests its funds in several distinct portfolios that must be accounted for accurately. Applicable investment policies are approved by both the Oregon State Board of Higher Education (OSBHE) and the Oregon Investment Council. Investment selection is performed by the Oregon State Treasury (OST) at the direction of the Oregon Investment Council. This position is responsible for ensuring that policies are followed and recommending changes to policies when appropriate. This position is responsible for conducting fiscal analysis related to investment income and recording reported income according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and prepares investment reports for the OSBHE. This position also performs fiscal analysis in conjunction with recording changes in asset values for investment and endowments. Analyzes System fund balances, investment performance, and completes a complex and detailed allocation of investment income as established by policy.


  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or a Bachelor’s degree in any field with at least two years directly applicable accounting experience


  • Professional accounting experience, investment accounting preferred
  • Experience in endowment accounting, particularly using unit value
  • Experience using Banner accounting systems
  • CPA, CFA, or CTP
