Title: Retirement Plans Administrator
Salary: $65,000 to $80,000 DOE
FTE: 1.00
Location: This position is located in Corvallis, Oregon
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
The Retirement Plans Administrator (RPA) is responsible for day-to-day operation of two defined contribution retirement plans, a cash balance plan, and coordination with defined benefit and defined contribution plans of the state of Oregon. Other duties include support and training of campus-based administrators, supporting plan governance committees, and serving as primary resource for research and participation in plan management, design, and operations issues. This position includes a mix of regular duties and special projects, and the RPA interacts with a wide range of campus and industry contacts on a regular basis.
MINIMUM (REQUIRED) QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or Finance and 3 years’ experience in direct administration of large defined contribution retirement plans or equivalent combination of training or experience.
SPECIAL (PREFERRED) QUALIFICATIONS
- QPA(ASPPA), RPA( CEBS), CBP, or APR(NIPA) certification
- Graduate or equivalent professional education in business, management, or administration
- Three to five years of experience in administration of governmental plans
- Experience with plans offering fixed and variable annuity investment products as well as mutual funds
- Webpage maintenance and development skills using DRUPAL or other web-based applications.
