Academic Program Policies and Procedures

In 2004, the Oregon State Board of Higher Education charged the OUS Provosts’ Council (see link to right), comprised of academic provosts from all seven Oregon public universities, with the review and recommendation of new academic programs and program changes. This function was previously performed by an Academic Affairs department within the Chancellor’s Office.

For a searchable, on-line database of all academic majors at OUS institutions and Oregon Health and Science University, see Academic Programs (button at right). The database is kept up to date and includes degree level, institution, program title, CIP number, and general comments.
