Description:
The Oregon University System (OUS) is seeking proposals to select a government relations firm through June 30, 2011. This includes services during the 2009-2011 Legislative Interim, the 2010 Supplemental Session, and potentially the 2011 General Session.

Minimum Qualifications: Firms must have the following minimum qualifications to submit a proposal to this RFP:
• Minimum of seven years experience representing clients before the Oregon Legislature.
• Experience with and knowledge of the Ways & Means budgeting process.
• Knowledge of higher education issues.
• Experience advocating on behalf of a public entity required.
• Experience advocating on behalf of higher education required.
• Demonstration of substantive, current and high quality relationships with Oregon executive and legislative branch officials and staff, particularly those in leadership positions.
