Description:
This Request for Proposals is intended to identify an appropriate party (the “Developer”) to partner with Portland State University (“PSU”) in expanding housing for its student body, and especially for lower division undergraduate and international students. PSU anticipates entering into a ground lease with the Developer for development of a housing project of up to 1000 beds with additional retail, office, and classroom space available for lease back to PSU as follows:
Program elements (percentages are estimates)
1. Housing: 75-80% including integrated community space/services. Dining may be required. Bicycle parking for residents
2. Ground floor retail: 10%
3. Second and/or third floor academic space (classrooms/offices): 10-15%
