Tom Butler was appointed by the legislature to OCKED and began his term as a member in January 2002.
Tom currently serves as a Representative for Oregon District 60. He is a member of the Joint Committee of Ways
and Means and the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Transportation and Economic Development. He works as a Certified
Public Accountant (Occupational), and has been self-employed in the areas of farm and ranch taxation and real estate
development and management. Previously, Representative Butler served as Malheur County Commissioner, and has worked
on various budget boards, community development projects, and finance and administration committees.
Butler is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
