Randall Edwards serves as the Oregon State Treasurer and is
by statute a member of OCKED. He has been a member
of the council since January 2002.
Prior to his tenure in the Treasury, Mr. Edwards served as a state representative (1996). He worked to improve
school funding, created the Oregon School Bond Guaranty Act, and pushed into law a financing plan for rebuilding
Oregon's State Parks. In addition, he authored the Treasury's College Savings Plan. Edwards' previous professional
experience includes being a managing partner for EDJE Consulting and an International Trade Analyst for the U.S.
Department of Commerce.
Edwards holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Colorado College and an M.B.A. from George Washington University.
