Scott Gibson began his term as a member of OCKED on January 1,
2002, serving as a representative from Oregon Health &
Science University's Board of Trustees. .
Gibson has had extensive experience in the high-tech industry and is committed to the growth of technology companies.
He most recently worked for Intel Corporation as the General Manager of Memory Components. Currently, he serves
on the Board of Directors for several computer-related companies, including TriQuint Semiconductor, Radysis, Integrated
Measurement Systems, and Egghead.com. His guidance as a Board member and strategic consultant for five technology
companies has led to public recognition by NASDAQ and considerable growth in sales. He was recognized as the American
Electronics Association's Oregon High Tech Executive of the Year in 1990. Mr. Gibson remains active outside technology
companies by sitting as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Oregon Graduate Institute, as a member of
the Oregon Health Sciences Foundation Board, and as an elected official of the Oregon Community Foundation Board.
Gibson received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Illinois.
