Mr. Larson has represented business and industry on the Oregon
Council for Knowledge and Economic Development since
2002.
Mr. Larson has worked for Intel since 1996, and currently serves as Director of Strategic Investments for the company. In addition to managing the company's investment strategy, he serves as a spokesperson for Intel and speaks at industry and venture conferences on its behalf. Prior to this, he served as a manager in the department. He has also served as a consultant to several businesses and as a partner in Interven Partners, a $51 million venture capital firm he co-founded. He has also worked as a senior accountant for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell, & Co, and is a licensed CPA. Mr. Larson has also contributed his expertise to the higher education, serving as an adjunct professor for Portland State University's School of Business Administration and the Oregon Graduate Institute's Masters in Science and Technology program. He is also a member of the Board of Regents of the University of Portland. He graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California. He is active in several local charities and stays active in various public speaking and panel presentations. |
