C. Frost Lee


C. Frost Lee is among the original appointments to OCKED and has served as a member since January 2002.

Frost is an M.D. focused on bringing resources to her patients and community. A native of rural Oregon, Ms. Lee has a unique perspective on approaching limited resources in innovative ways and matching local talent with opportunities across the state and country to find practical solutions to problems. She is committed to educating others and views her appointment to OCKED as an opportunity to incorporate her rural experience with the task of breaking barriers to establish businesses. Her background in science, medicine, software development, and business are integral to promoting knowledge-based economic development.

Frost founded In-Med, Inc. a software company for the medical information industry, and serves as its president. She is also partner and co-founder of EKG Interpretations, Bridgeview Professional Center, and Pelican Properties. She has worked in various capacities within the medical industry, including practicing internal medicine and serving as the clinical professor of medicine for the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center and physician member of the hospital budget committee. She has furthered education in the community by developing a stop-smoking program and a community Health Fair. Additionally, Ms. Lee has served on the Board of Directors for the American College of Physician's Oregon Divisions Board of Governors, the Bend and Newport Chambers of Commerce, the BioEnterprise Council, and the Central Oregon Investor Forum.

Lee graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Biology and obtained her M.D. from the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center.
