Deferred Maintenance
OUS recognizes that the state's physical facilities and assets have served its students and citizens, and need to be adequately protected for future generations of Oregon students. Timely rep
lacements of failing subsystems are called "capital repair" -- delays in capital repairs are called "deferred maintenance." OUS is committed to protecting and preserving the state's assets in OUS facilities - and positively affecting student academic success -- by addressing critical deferred maintenance.
