K-16 Alignment

The OUS K-16 Alignment Department, within Strategic Programs and Planning, manages student-centered efforts for curriculum alignment and transferability between K-12, community colleges, and Oregon's public universities. K-16 Department staff work closely with the Department of Education and the Department of Community College and Workforce Development to implement collaborative strategies to foster student success throughout the educational pipeline. They develop policy proposals, perform training and outreach, foster partnerships, and manage technological aspects of programs designed to enhance alignment across the three educational sectors. For K-16 programs and initiatives, see link to right.
