- Articulated Transfer Linked Audit System (ATLAS) Approved by the State Board of Higher Education in 2005, and scheduled for launch in January 2007, ATLAS is an innovative web-based system designed for more effective transfer of credits between community colleges and OUS institutions. ATLAS will give students and academic advisors real-time information on how and where completed college courses transfer between post-secondary institutions, and help students find appropriate courses to more quickly complete their degree or program.
- The Integrated Data Transfer System (IDTS) was approved by the Oregon legislature in 2005, and is scheduled for launch in 2007. The IDTS will electronically transmit student transcripts on-demand between and among high schools, community colleges, and universities. By connecting the systems of the state's three education sectors, the data system will support student progression from high school to college and between postsecondary institutions.
- Proficiency-based Admission Standards System (PASS) is a system of educational standards designed to align OUS admission with K-12 standards and performance measures. Created through a partnership between the Board of Higher Education and the Board of Education, PASS gives students better preparation for college by making sure they have the required skills and knowledge to succeed. Students can use a variety of assessment methods - including state and national assessments and classroom teacher judgment - to create a "College Admissions Profile" that includes information about their proficiency in six key subjects.
- Linking Assessment Data Directly to Entry Standards K-16 (LADDER k-16): The LADDER project compares results from Oregon's standards-based state assessments with subsequent student performance at public two- and four-year colleges. Results of student performance are then compared to traditional college preparation measures to evaluate how useful "evidence of proficiency" is in the admission process.
- Oregon Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP): Oregon GEAR-UP is a collaborative program aimed to increase the number of low-income Oregon students who pursue and succeed in postsecondary education. The program provides meaningful academic enrichment activities that result in systemic, sustainable school improvements for partner school clusters throughout the state.
- The Oregon Transfer Module (OTM) is an approved subset of general education courses that is transferable between and among all public postsecondary institutions in Oregon. It is designed to ensure that the needs of students statewide are met without unnecessary course duplication. Approved by the Joint Boards of Education in February 2005, the OTM is designed to improve access to a college degree by enhancing opportunities for student transfer of credits earned at one community college or OUS campus to another public college or university.
