Strategic Programs and Planning


The Strategic Programs and Planning Division oversees a broad array of strategic issues development, planning, analysis, performance measurement, and accountability reporting in support of Board of Higher Education strategic planning and policy making. The functions carried out by the departments within Strategic Programs and Planning include: development of agency-level OUS strategic plans and initiatives; coordination with OUS campus strategic plans and with inter-sector planning conducted by the Joint Boards of Education; development and implementation of the System level performance and accountability framework; development of analytic and information management tools, such as integrated databases, forecasting models, peer analysis, and surveys; and work on programs and processes that help to align standards and assessment between K-12, community colleges, and higher education.
