WHAT:
Oregon University System Chancellor, George Pernsteiner, is seeking input on the qualities and qualifications of the next president of the University of Oregon. Join him to lend your voice to the discussion on the qualifications and role of the next president. The forum, hosted by the UO Alumni Association, is the final in a series of opportunities to provide public input, a process that started in June. Your input will be shared with the Search Committee, the Search firm, and the Board of Higher Education.
A diverse Search Committee has been selected to lead the search process, made up of UO faculty, staff, students, alumni, and members of Eugene and other communities, and other constituents in education, business and public service; and assisted by a professional search firm.
WHEN and WHERE:
Campus/Community forum: Tuesday, October 14, 3:30 – 5:00 pm, Many Nations Longhouse, University of Oregon; 1630 Columbia Street (east of the UO Law School, and just north of 17th Avenue)
