Donald Blair, West Linn, was appointed to the Oregon State Board of Higher Education in January 2004.

Mr. Blair is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Nike, Incorporated, where he is responsible for worldwide financial functions for the company. He sees a strong link between "higher education, a well-qualified workforce prepared for the 21st century, and the health of the Oregon state economy," and is interested in contributing to higher education improvements.

Prior to becoming CFO of Nike in 1999, he served as Senior Vice President, Finance, for the Pepsi Bottling Group, Incorporated; Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO for Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company; Vice President of Planning for Pizza Hut, Incorporated; Vice President of Finance for Pepsi-Cola International, Asia Division; Finance Director for PepsiCo Incorporated, Japan Branch; Finance Director for Pepsi-Cola Company; Group Manager of Business Planning and Manager of Financial Planning for Pepsi-Cola company; and Senior Financial Analyst for a Senior Accountant for Deloitte, Haskins & Sells of New York, NY.

Donald Blair holds a BS in Economics and an MBA in Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where his studies focused on finance and public management. He was a Wharton Public Policy fellow at EPA in Washington, D.C., during his graduate years.

Mr. Blair's term expires in 2008.
