Title: Adult Learner Hotline Operator

Salary Range: $12-15/hour

FTE: 0.3 FTE (10-15 hrs/week)

Location: The position is located in Portland.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION

After training, serve as operator of an adult learner telephone hotline through the College Access Challenge Grant project (CACGP), under supervision of the CACGP Coordinator. Answer hotline calls, provide information and referral services to callers, and document hotline activity for project management, reporting, and program evaluation purposes.

DESCRIPTION OF SPECIFIC DUTIES AND PERCENTAGE OF TIME

Two-thirds of time worked will be verbal communication with hotline callers, providing information and referral services. The remaining one-third will be documentation/reporting as above.
