State Board Committees Meet Friday, Jan. 21, in Portland
PORTLAND -- Three committees of the Oregon State Board of Higher Education will hold morning meetings Friday, Jan.
21, in Portland.
Both the Budget and Finance Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee will meet from 8 to 9:30 a.m., and the
Board's Executive Committee will meet from 10 a.m. to noon in Smith Memorial Center, Portland State University.
All three meetings are open to the public.
The Budget and Finance Committee will discuss tuition and fee issues, long-term facilities planning, and the state
funds operation of the Oregon Wide-Area Educational Network (OWEN). The agenda for the Strategic Planning Committee
will include review and refinement of strategic initiatives and legislative concepts for 2001, and the Executive
Committee will discuss executive evaluations.
