Two CORAB Meetings Scheduled on Branch Proposals
BEND - Members of the Central Oregon Regional Advisory Board (CORAB) have scheduled two meetings during the next two weeks to discuss the Central Oregon branch campus proposals and make a report to officials of the Oregon University System.
CORAB has been reviewing the proposals submitted by Oregon State University and the University of Oregon. They will meet Wednesday, Dec. 27 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. to continue their review and discussion.
They also will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001 from 3 to 5 p.m. to report on their analysis to OUS Chancellor Joe Cox and Vice Chancellor Shirley Clark.
Both meetings will be held in the Christiansen Board Room of the Boyle Education Center at Central Oregon Community College, 2600 N.W. College Way, Bend. The meetings are open to the public.
OUS officials are expected to make an interim report on the branch campus proposals to the Executive Committee of the State Board of Higher Education in mid-January and a recommendation to the full Board at its Feb. 16, 2001 meeting in Corvallis.
