Meetings of the Board's Investment Committee, Budget and Finance Committee, a Subcommittee charged with review of a proposed Legislative Concept pertaining to commissioning university police officers, as well as the Joint Boards of Education, will be held on March 16-17, 2000. All meetings will take place in accordance with the times, locations, and schedules listed below:

The purpose of the meeting is to review the Investment Committee charter; discuss the 1st and 2nd Quarter Investment Reports; conduct an investment manager interview; act on the rebalancing of the Pooled Endowment Fund; and consider statutory language of the current Donation Fund and Plant Funds.

The purpose of the meeting is to review data provided by PSU and discuss possible options to address public safety issues on OUS campuses in general. Subcommittee members include Tom Imeson, Leslie Lehmann, and Jim Willis.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider UO new graduate student studio and one-bedroom apartments; OSU new undergraduate student apartment suites; an OSU indoor field house; and student health insurance. A Systemwide financial update between June 30, 1999, to December 31, 1999, will also be presented.

The purpose of the meeting is to receive several reports on issues of interest to both Boards, including regional partnerships criteria; the Educational Leadership Team; the Oregon Quality Assurance in Teaching program; distance education/technology; and the potential Higher Education Technology Transfer Fund.
