A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Board of Higher
Education will be held on Friday, October 24, 1997. The meeting will be held
via teleconference, originating from the Chancellor's Office in Eugene, Oregon.

The meeting is being held to approve the recommendations of the Engineering
and Technology Industry Council for distribution of $5 million of funds approved
for engineering. These recommendations must be submitted to the Department
of Administrative Services no later than Monday, October 27, 1997.
