Teacher Education

Oregon University System (OUS) institutions offer a wide variety of teacher preparation programs. The OUS has produced an advising guide “How to Become an Oregon Teacher” to assist pre-college, community college, college, and university students, advisors, and faculties in understanding the admission and program requirements in becoming an educator in Oregon. OUS also develops and coordinates policy directives related to teacher education.
