From Goal to Reality: Achieving 40-40-20 in Oregon

An invitation-only symposium on meeting Oregon’s education goals, organized by the State Board of Higher Education and Oregon University System.

The "From Goal to Reality" symposium will convene Oregon and national policy experts, legislators, college and university presidents, K-12 superintendents, public officials, business, and community leaders, to take the next steps for Oregon’s public university system and its partners to meet the important 40-40-20 state goals.* Governor Kitzhaber will speak in the afternoon.

*The 40-40-20 goals are 40% of Oregonians earning a 4-year degree or more, another 40% earning an associate’s degree or post high school certificate, and the remaining 20% earning a high school diploma or equivalent and ready to enter the workforce.
