Dental Hygiene This online degree completion program is for Licensed Dental Hygienists who have successfully completed the Dental Hygiene National Board Examination. The program consists of college general education courses and the professional courses required to complete the BS degree. Echocardiography This unique distance delivery Echocardiography Bachelor of Science degree program is offered exclusively to registered cardiac sonographers. College credit will be given to qualified applicants who hold cardiac credentials through the ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International), and the student must be working in a full service, properly equipped echocardiography laboratory. Information Technology Another new offering! Oregon Tech now offers a new distance education program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Out-of-area students may complete these requirements by transferring pre-approved courses from another college or university. Radiologic Science The RDSC degree completion program was created in response to inquiries by radiologic technologists seeking a four year degree without leaving their employment. Students in this program are offered a comprehensive education that includes course work in MRI, CT, mammography, QA/QC, CIT and business applications. To be admitted to the program a student must have passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) examination and be a Radiographer in good standing. Respiratory Care Oregon Institute of Technology's online degree-completion program enables Registered Respiratory Therapists to complete a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care without giving up their current positions to continue their schooling. The program integrates coursework in scientific and leadership principles with therapeutic and diagnostic procedures and a general-education core. Vascular Technology The Vascular Technology degree completion program is designed for working vascular technologists. The curriculum integrates basic medical science, vascular diagnostic courses and general college education courses leading to a BS in Vascular Technology. To be admitted to the program a student must be a Registered Vascular Technologist and be employed in a full service, properly equipped vascular laboratory. P.A.C.S. Administration Oregon Institute of Technology now offers an online specialization in Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS). This course of study is intended for professionals who are
