Criminology and Criminal Justice

By completing 8-12 credits per term, you can earn a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice in two years through PSU's Division of Criminology and Criminal Justice. Liberal Studies

This program is designed for students who have earned 90 or more credits and wish to transfer to Portland State. It is a broad-based degree allowing for maximum flexibility in choosing the courses of most interest for the student. Just CLICK the link to learn more about this degree program.

Social Science

Social Science is the most commonly pursued degree at Portland State, and a complete bachelor's degree is now available online! Designed for transfer students who have earned 90 or more credits, this program is comprised of a combination of general education courses, courses in the major, and electives. Master of Business Administration

Designed with flexibility in mind, PSU’s eMBA lets you decide when is your best time to study, do your work, and interact with professors and classmates. Anywhere there is a computer with an internet connection, you can attend class - weekdays or weekends, day or night, work days or holidays. 

The majority of coursework for Portland's MBA program is available using WebCT - a popular online course delivery technology - and also utilizes face-to-face learning at campus residencies which take place one weekend per term. 

The eMBA is carefully tailored to provide you access to the best, fully accredited MBA education possible, without the constraints of a traditional, campus-based program. It truly is an MBA with a difference.

e-Learning Certificate

The demand for online learning has grown dramatically in the last decade, and there is no indication is is slowing down! This 15 quarter credit hour program is an excellent opportunity for anyone working at any level in the education system. This program leads to a Certificate of Completion, and all coursework can be done online. CLICK HERE for more information about this Certificate program.

Early Childhood Education Certificate

Offered through the Early Childhood Training Center, this Certificate of Completion can be done entirely online. The program consists of six 3-credit upper division courses, and there are no prerequisites for these courses. These stand-alone courses can also be applied to a Bachelor's degree with advisor approval. Visit the program website for more information.

Teaching Endorsements

  • Educational Media/Librarian: The Educational Media/Librarianship Endorsement Program consists of a comprehensive set of course work (up to 29 credits) that prepares people to be competent PreK-12 educational library media specialists. Recommendation for the Endorsement, to be added to a current teaching license, is made to Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) upon successful completion of this program and receiving passing scores on the Educational Media Praxis Exam.
