Business Administration

The Business Administration program is a Degree Completion Program allowing you to complete your Bachelor's degree in Business with concentrations available in management and minors in psychology or criminology. Two business courses are offered each term as hybrid courses. The majority of coursework is online, but students are required to participate in two face-to-face Saturday sessions for each business class. The face-to-face component may be attended through video conferencing at your selected community college. Business students are also required to attend the Ashland campus twice during their degree program: once for an orientation to the School of Business and again for their capstone presentation at the end of their program. For more information about this program, contact the University Center at (541) 888-1518.

Criminology/Criminal Justice

Criminology/Criminal Justice can be taken as either a major (Bachelor's degree) or a minor. The Bachelor's program is a degree completion program designed for students that have completed approximately two years of college completed. Students will need to meet SOU's General Education requirements and the departmental pre-requisite courses. For more information about this program, contact the University Center at (541) 888-1518.

Education - Continuing Licensure for Teachers

The Master in Education (M.Ed.) program provides the student with a strong graduate level course of study related to the field of education by fostering scholarship, instructional excellence, cross cultural sensitivity, and professional leadership. Key to the program is an emphasis on educational leadership within the classroom, the school district, the broader community, and the profession as a whole.

The program has been specifically designed to meet Oregon's Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) requirements for Continuing Teaching License (CTL). This curriculum will also meet the Standard Teaching License requirements.

The M.Ed. program requires at least 45 credits of graduate study. The program may be completed either on a full-time or part-time basis. Courses are offered via distance learning during the academic year and on campus at SOU and other sites during summers. For more information on this program, contact the University Center at (541) 888-1518.
