Fire Services Administration The Fire Services
Administration degree is a cooperative venture between Western Oregon University (WOU) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency-National Fire Academy (FEMA-NFA). Click here to go to WOU's website and learn more about this program. Secondary Education This program leads to a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree qualifying for initial teacher licensure at the high school level and a graduate degree. The program begins two cohorts each year - one starting in June and one starting in January. This web-based program is designed for students who live too far from campus to attend the on-site program or who would simply like to complete the program more slowly than the full-time, on-site version. For more information about this program, contact the University Center at (541) 888-1518 or click here to go to WOU's education website. Reading Endorsement for Teachers The Reading Endorsement is provided through a collaboration between Eastern Oregon University, Oregon State University, Southern Oregon University, Western Oregon University, and Portland State University. For more information on this endorsement, visit www.ReadOregon.org.
